InGear PR's Design and Writing Expertise Provide Creative Vision for VidaBox
VidaBox sells to clients who are sophisticated, understand the benefits of technology, and have money to spend. To make a big splash with them at CEDIA 2011, the company needed to distinguish itself in a sea of bigger competitors by creating booth panels and brochures featuring high design values, and incorporating messaging with an emotional pull that would resonate with potential customers. The company had tried to design their panels and brochures themselves using Adobe® FireWorks® and PhotoShop®; however, they ran into one major obstacle: while they had the creative tools, they did not have the creative vision or design expertise. VidaBox needed help, and it turned to InGears' Marcom division to meet its needs.
InGear developed the copy for VidaBox's CEDIA booth panels and product brochures, created designs for both in PowerPoint®, critiqued a presentation created by an outside professional presenter, and searched for stock images – a very time-consuming project that saved VidaBox hours of work. The PowerPoint pages, in conjunction with a tutorial from InGear, served as a complete guide for producing the final artwork, showing the positioning of panel elements, copy, and colors. InGear reviewed the final artwork and made all recommended changes, completing the project in early September in time for CEDIA.
